BWAHAHAHA DC Relaunch

So if you have any love for comics you should know about the DC Relauch. Well as part of the (largely) pointless character costume redesigns which are supposed to modernize the costume for a more modern audience and give the female characters more practical costumes (check out Harley Quinn, Teen Titans and Nightwing so see how they fail at this) Booster Gold got a redesign. Now Booster's my boy. I love the guy and as far as I'm concerned his old costume...this one:

which has barely undergone any changes since he first debuted in the eighties was still holding up really dam well. It's slick and it's simple....the the relaunch comes along and decided Booster needed more FUSS:

Just look at all that pointless mess around his face and shoulders. It's just distracting. He is by far not the worst off (check out the newly acquired Apollo and Midnighter) but it's just unnecessary. Sure, change is good, it keep things interesting, but this is change for the sake of change...

anywho all that lead up to me thinking what would Boost's best dead buddy Blue Beetle think if he saw him now...I think it'd be something like this:
